alucolor was founded in Chemnitz in 1994. Now numbering a workforce of over 80 employees, the company focuses on its core business of treating aluminium using powder coating or anodising processes, primarily for facades, but also for machine construction, vehicle technology, ship building and interior design. The company has made an excellent name for itself and has worked on large-scale projects both nationally and internationally.
We have set great store by our own vocational training scheme for over twenty years. It allows us to tailor the training of our technical personnel to our precise requirements. The scheme means that a host of important posts, ranging from managing director, production manager to team leader in logistics, can be filled from within the company’s own ranks and this assures unbroken and smooth working processes.
Since 2016 alucolor has been majority-led by Eric Müller, who entered the company’s general management in 1998. Along with a highly motivated team of employees, young executives and the wealth of experience that over 25 years of surface treatment brings with it are busy generating future development ideas. We focus on the branch essentials and take a forward looking approach; and professionalism and sustainable growth are the goals which direct the company’s actions.
